I've walked through the kind of change that doesn't leave you the same. I know how to help you do the same.
Not the inspiration part. You already have that. The part where you figure out who you are on the other side, and how to build a life that actually fits her.
Witnessed
I've sat with the dying and I've sat with the living who are in the middle of becoming something they don't have a name for yet. Both ask the same question, even if they don't say it out loud: is it okay to let go of who I was?
The answer is yes. And it's also one of the hardest things a person can do without someone who has already done it standing beside them.
You're not falling apart. You're in a transition that most people around you don't have language for, because most people haven't been trained to hold it. You've probably been told to stay positive, keep moving, give it time. What you actually need is someone who can sit in the middle of it with you without needing it to resolve faster than it's ready to.
That's the work. And it's the work I've been doing, in one form or another, for most of my adult life.
I’m Morgan Fava
Sacred transitions mentor, death doula, and grief educator.
I built Sacred Transitions™ because the intelligence that helps someone cross the threshold of death is the same intelligence that helps someone cross every other threshold life puts in front of them, and most people never get access to it unless they're standing at an actual deathbed.
I've spent the better part of a decade going deeper into myself than most people are willing to go. Plant medicine pilgrimages. Ayahuasca ceremonies. Shadow work that had no guaranteed ending. Not as a spiritual aesthetic, but because the grief I was carrying demanded it. Loss of self. Loss of home, more than once. The end of a marriage. The communities I had to leave behind. The death of my Nana, which cracked something open in me I am still integrating. An identity I spent years building that one day simply stopped fitting.
What followed was some of the most disorienting and holy years of my life, and the slow realization that every ending I had ever moved through was a threshold. That dissolution and construction are the same process, just viewed from different angles. That the alchemy I was living was exactly the thing the women around me were trying to survive without a map.
I don't teach this work from the outside. I teach it from the inside of having lived it, and from the inside of having held others through it, at bedsides, in grief circles, in the sacred container of ceremony, and in the kind of mentorship that doesn't flinch at what's actually there.
Sacred Transitions™ is the space where that all comes together. This is its beginning.
If you're reading this
You're not new to doing the inner work. You've read the books, sat in the circles, done the therapy. You're past the point of wondering whether transformation is real, you've already experienced enough of it to know it is.
What you're in right now is something different. A threshold that feels bigger than the tools you already have. A change that keeps asking more of you than you expected. A question underneath it all that sounds something like: who am I becoming, and can I trust her?
You don't need more information. You need someone who can hold the weight of this with you while you find out.
That's what I do.
